Everything went fine, but the final IFO shows chapter 1 starting 6 minutes into the movie, the original IFO does not, tried removing and adjusting angles, but it makes no diff. It wants to chapter 1 to start ONE CELL before chapter 2 starts in the real DVD, hence when i play it in anything it starts the movie 6 minutes into it, and when i use dvd2avi to check the stripped VOBs, the WHOLE movie is there, and also IFOedit shows the cells before chapter 1, but dosnt show a chapter till cell 8.
After writing that i did a create IFOs and it works, but it makes like 100 chapters :) 1 for each cell!
I manually went (somewhere in the file)??? and set the starting cell to 1 and now it works fine, but i wonder why IFO did that?

Strange. Many people reported now such problems with AP2.
I have to wait, until it will be released in europe on DVD, then I'll gonna have a look at it.

maybe you've seen my guides.. the DVD-9 -> 2x DVD-R guides use American Pie 2 (unrated edition) as example... everything worked perfectly for me using v0.82b1 for the guide without menus and 0.82b2 for the guide with menus

Now all the movies i rip with beta2 are doing the same thing, it moves all chapters up 1 notch.... VERY STRANGE.... i will re-install? and see what happens. Is there ANY way to set the chapters by hand? i found out how to change what cell the program chain starts on, but not the chapter.

I have had the exact same results in the movie starting about 6 min into it and have followed all the posted guides. How do I fix this problem on future movies. Has anyone figured out what is going wrong. I see how to make this one work but not how to make sure future ones are in the right spot. Thanks

I did get it to work the same way others have by rebuilding the IFO files. I ripped the Movie with one large file and then rebuilt the IFO's. I don't care that I have a lot of chapters because peopel rarely use them anyway especialy when you have a DVD player that you can bookmark but it pauses for a second or two when it hits the newly make chapters. Could this be the quality of my DVD or the process in which I went about this? Thanks for the help. The program rocks we just need to help you get past this problem.

Mnuemonic can you or someone else that has gotten the movie onto a 4.7 gb DVD please email me and tell me step for step what to do. I have followed all the guides and just can not get it to work. my email is anfonee1@dreamscape.com also, for example in Fast and Furious IFO 7 covers VOB 7.1 and 7.2, so when i load the files into VOBrator i see which files i want to strip, but then how do i know what to strip in Ifoedit, since they are in different orders and what not. I see that the files i wanted to strip are like 7-17 but when i strip 7-17 it really ends up stripping like 1-5. Please email me with help someone, or better yet you can IM me on Instant Messenger at anfonee1. thanks guys

Ok another thing is what if I rip all the files except for the movie with smart ripper, and then i rip the movie alone and doing this i can remove the streams when i rip it in smartripper and then just put that witht he rest of the files and strip out the files i dont want, but i cant strip out the files i dont want without the movie ceasing operation when i go to burn it. Please help me, Domm9 if you got it to work please let me know step for step how u did it or can u send me the files you burned. Thanks

Doom9 has some very good guides for basics, once you understand how everything works it will be much easier to show youhow to do it.
