View Full Version : MPC: accesing language/subtitles menu per rightklick-context menu for all filetypes?

Hi there,
i use MPC/homecinema and the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack for some time now, but i still dont get it: if i play .avi files with several audio-channels, i can switch languages per rightklick-popup on the player which is very convenient. when playing .mkv files though, this has to be done by rightklicking the "direct vob sub" icon in the taskbar and with .vob files you have to use the navigate button to change language or subtitles.
i know that its possible to use hotkeys for all filetypes but is there any way to make the subtitle/audio menu accesible through rightklick-contextmenu for ALL filetypes?
any help would be much appreciated, thanx in advance.

enable the internal subtitle renderer.

To do say go to options and enable "auto load subtitles"

thanx for the quick answer, but checking "auto load subtitles" under "playback" doesnt change anything for me, just as "enable build in audio switcher". i also tried different direct show output methods but the context menu audio/subtitles options are greyed out or have only the "enable" option while at the same time all languages/subtitles tracks are accesible through the "navigate" menu.

Not alle media is connected to the navigation menu.
You can access the splitter by rightclicking, then going to "splitters", the bottom one should contain the switcher.

you mean rightklicking the ffdshow audio decoder or the haali media splitter icon? i cant find a switcher option in any of them.

sorry, there is no "spliter" option , only "filters" ,"shaders" and other stuff. i cant find anything in audio switcher, or direct vob sub properties either.
