Hi jdobbs
yesterday a friend of mine gave to me like a present the DVD of STAR WARS THE CLONE WARS.
Okay...what I wanted to do is to copy it with the help of DVD-Rebuilder.
Keep in mind that I already used this program many times and I always finished my job with no error at all and with a perfect clone of the original one.
I ripped the disk with AnyDVD latest build and later than I started DVD-rebuilder but this time after the prepare stage I saw DVD-RB aborting during the encode stage...why? I really changed nothing about my previous set-up and I leaved the overall configuration as in the past.
I attached the full working folder with, of course, the log file in it I really hope that some of you could help me.
Thanks in advantage,
Stefano.
P.S.
I even attached the log files of AnyDVD...just in case.

I notice you have AVS filters enabled. What happens if you disable them?

Hi jdobbs and I'm very thank to you for your reply.
...What happens if you disable them?
well, I haven't tried to do that and I'll have a try soon.
To do that, should I have to go to "Options" and delete everything inside the "AVS Filter Editor windows"?
P.S.
I want you to show the error message DVD-RB said before aborting its encoding stage and my REBUILDER.INI too...just in case
Thanks,
Stefano

Thanks,
Stefano That changes things... it appears you may have selected the wrong CCE version under "SETTINGS/CCE SETTINGS" from the menu bar.

I got the problem...you're right I was using the wrong setting.
I was always selecting the (CCE SP trial version) instead of the commercial version, now...it's working!
Everything is again back to normal
Thanks for your help...before ask to you I was in a terrible state, because I was worried to have mess up my installation :thanks:

Just one more thing...
should I need to add any header for using the 2.50 version?
Thanks

Thanks again jdobbs for your great help...you're a gentleman :)
I don't know if this is the right thread where to ask that...in case just don't mind to answer me.
I'm still in trouble with AutoQMatEnc...why DVD-RB doesn't work with him?
Have you never finished to encode something with it?
Thanks,
stefano

I'd say update your version of AnyDVD. You are using 6.5.4.9 whilst the latest is 6.5.5.4.
Get it here: http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=30727
I would probably re-rip with the latest AnyDVD (using the AnyDVD Ripper) and try again.

Hi linx05 and thanks for your reply,
I really didn't know about this new release...!
I'd say update your version of AnyDVD...
Of course I'll update to this new release as soon as I can, anyway thank to jdobbs, I discovered that my problem was just the wrong way I was using DV-RB
Thanks,
Stefano
P.S.
Did you know what AI scanner means?
This new version is still capable to update itself when needed without the hassle to always uni-stall and reinstall it over and over again?

Installing AnyDVD over the top of your current version is fine.
AI Scanner is a technology developed to help deal with new copy protections without the need for the developers input.
