mkvtoolnix and mkv

I need too add some adds to a movie ( in the intro )

add.mkv, movie.mkv

Can it do it with mkvtoolnix ? how should i set the 2 h264 streams ?

If not can it be done without reencoding ?

Did you try the append option?

Add your first video then use the append option to add the 2nd.........

They can be appended only when the codec/resolution match, can't they?

I would assume so, i've only every used append on things like DVD movies tho....
