Subtitle's color has been changed with voblanker + It doesnt show up on my SAP

After i mux my files with muxman, the subtitle are of this color

But then after i replaced it in voblanker, the subtitles has changed color

And yea, it doesnt show up when i play it in my DVD player. :(

What i did was, there were 2 different sources for the same movie. One was in PAL(german) and the other was in NTSC(english). And the german video was FAR better than the video from the NTSC. So i encode the PAL video to NTSC specifications. Audio doesnt need to be changed. Subtitles sync'ed! Convert that to SUP to be compatible in muxman. Muxed all the files in muxman. Then i opened the NTSC one in vobblanker and i replace the video with the one i encoded. And when i play it in MPC/VLC, the sub has gone another color. I burnt it on a DVD, played it in my DVD player, subtitles doesnt show up.

Any help please!

You may try looking at your final mux with DVDSubEdit. It should be able to tell you what colors your subs are supposed to be, and let you edit them on the fly.

and btw, if i opened only one VOB in mpc/vlc, the subtitelse are white. But if i open the whole thing ( i.e u get the menu) then the subs turn another color.

Just marry up the CLUT with the original. Use PgcEdit copy all / paste all CLUT for this.

The explanation is that subtitle color information is partly stored in VOBs (color schemes) and partly in ifos (CLUT) with PGC data. In particular, color schemes store numbers pointing at colors (0 to 15) defined in CLUT (color look-up table, individual for each PGC). So when you replace title VOBs in VOBBlanker, you use color schemes created with new subtitles + CLUT from the older DVD structure. Most likely, the CLUT created with new subtitles is different from the one defined for PGCs in original DVD. Then just replacing VOBs should have given subtitle colors different from those seen after Muxman. That is why you also want to replace the older CLUT, as suggested by Blutach.
