I hope this is the right place to post comments about EAC3toGUI. This is the only forum I've been able to find with posts by the author.

First off, I want to say that EAC3toGUI is the best GUI I've found for EAC3to. It doesn't drown me in a billion options and settings, and it gets the job done simply and cleanly.

However, there's one feature that is giving me a lot of grief. When I hit the Convert button, a command line window appears, and the command line string is sent to the window one character at a time, creating a special effect that seems to suggest typing. That special effect has caused confusion for every computer I run it on. Sometimes it'll miss the target and the command line window will sit there and do nothing, sometimes the window opens a little too late and it misses several characters, or sometimes the string is sent to a different program accidentally. The only remedy is to close the command line window and hit Convert again with fingers crossed.

Is there any chance EAC3toGUI can be modified to just send the string to the command line without any fancy special effects? If so, this would be the ultimate GUI.

EAC3toGUI has not been updated in a while.

For a selection of more recent gui's, look at the "GUI" section of this page: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=125966

I feel dismissed out of hand.

I don't like those other GUIs, or they don't do what I need. That's why I asked about this one.

Thanks

Because this is a public topic.
