Hey all I´ve always been using this method to get 5,1 surround sound.
rip the audio of a video file
remove the vocals an add a echo/delay for the rear speakers
create a mono and remove all bass and use it for the center speaker, use the mono again a make it only bass and use it for the LFE.
this works fine but shouldn't only the center speaker have dialouge? It seems that move surround movies only have diulouge from the center speaker unless somebody's talking left or right.
