I've been making DVD for home video in the past years and I kept on using the same routine every time. Because of other matter, I stopped for a few months. But recently when I resume making my next DVD, it refused to work. My set up is like this: win xp, DVRaptor to capture from mini DV cam into avi (DVRaptor codec), Premiere 6 to edit, export movie via Avisynth-Premiere plugin v0.25 to Avisynth v0.3 then to Cinema Craft Encoder SP 2.5 for encoding to mpv. My Avisynth is very simple, only has one line IPCVideo("my.avi") stored in a file my.avs since I only use it for frame serving to save disk space. From these software version, you'll know how long I've been using this method, and it serves me well for many years.

My problem now is when I add the my.avs into CCESP, it aborts with the MS send bug info msg. I've checked every line of the Avisynth register is there. I've tried to re-install all the above software but still hit this problem. Since my last successful DVD making, I didn't install any major software, except that I upgrade from xp sp2 to sp3. Don't know if this is related to the problem. Does any of you using these software has similar problem after upgrade to sp3? If any of you can think of any reason why it stops working, please give me a hint.

try deleting/moving the plugins folder (usually c:\program files\avisynth2.5\plugins)

or try moving out one plugin at time, and check with virtualdub when the script is working

often plugins crash each other...
