Hi, I have taken an .m2ts file from a bluray disc on my hard drive. Would it be possible to demux this, alter its bitrate and then put it back in the compilation (as an .m2ts file) and burn it as a BluRay movie?

Of course you can. You can demux the file, you can reencode the file to your beloved bitrate, and of course you can recreate a BD.

The answer was already in this forum, including details, keep searching. have a look here ->http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=145482
