Powerdvd 9 play BD from Hard Disk

Is it possible to enbale the software to playback ripped BD from Hard Disk by any means? tweak, patch or anything?

No, not directly - But you can simply use (freeware) "IMGBurn" to create an .ISO image file and mount it with (freeware) Virtual Clone Drive". PowerDVD should then see it as a "disc" and start playing it automatically...

I did iso with imageburn UDF v2.5 but still PDVD 9 refuses to play it!!!

Make sure it has these folders, if it doesn't make an empty directory

Some older BD's didn't include these but it's been awhile since I've seen one and I think it's becoming standard.

I take it you are referring to a full BD rip to HDD and not a AVCHD re-encode of a BD on the HDD?

If’s it’s a full BD rip to HDD then:

- Rip the original BD to an image file (.iso + .dvd) with AnyDVD-HD
- Mount the .dvd image file with Slysoft’s Virtual Clone Drive (freeware)

Works perfectly will all PowerDVD versions upto and including latest PowerDVD 9 version v9.0.1531.

Have been using this method for some years now from PowerDVD 7.3 -> 8.0 and now 9.0 etc.

I don't know what AVCHD re-encode is but I'm referring to BD rips download from torrents, so the method you've described is not relevant i guess. Thanks anyway.

Right there are no such directories, you mean creating empty directories and including them in image will work?

No it didn't. I've got BD image which is played by my PDVD so I've copied certificate content of the disk to the one I'm compiling, with all directory sturcture the same as on the disk it plays, they are dir's you've suggested, let's see if it works.
