PgcEdit - stream index ?

Let's say I have the following:

Which is the result of stripping unnecessary subtitle streams from a video.

Instead of having subtitle stream 1 set to 0|3|3|0, I'd like it to be 0|1|1|0, i.e:

0 = 0|0|0|0
1 = 0|1|1|0

In other words, I'd like to change the stream index so that subtitle 3 becomes subtitle 1, instead of the current mapping.

How can I do that ?

You need to change them in the VOBs. Demux and remux with muxman. I am not aware of other utilities to do this.

This is almost useless to you, but in the name of neatness, by all means ...

Normally I wouldn't, but sometimes I come across the odd disc with an unusual menu structure that makes it easier for me to simply remap streams back to basics than to bang my head to figure out the menu or re-do it. Call me a lazy bastard :D

The only stream numbers that the user can see and use are in Domain Stream Attributes. They have a language code and extension. That stream numbers are the index to the decoding streams in each PGC of the domain (the buttons in PgcEdit's PGC Editor window.)

The "decoding" stream numbers in the PGC must match the stream IDs in the VOBs. They are used internally by the player to map the selected language stream to the real subpic or audio stream in the VOBs, during the playback of the PGC. The decoding stream numbers are therefore never seen directly by the user, and should be modified only if you remux the VOBs or if you remap the streams in DSA.
