Hi Friends,

I have attempted to merge two avi files using virtualdub but it was not successful because of both the file having different
sampling rate...

Therefore i have changed the sampling rate and re-encode the first avi file that matches the second avi file...

So by doing this i finally merged both the avi files but the problem is the second part of a merged file was out of sync
whereas the first part was in good sync....

I have been trying for more than a month to solve this problem but not yet successful, Can anybody guide me to solve this
problem...

Thanks.....

If you have different sample rates, you MUST re-encode to be able to join the files. You will lose audio quality no matter what unless you want to use PCM (WAV) audio, in which case you'll have a big file for no quality gain. You should re-rip from the original source and do it right the first time.
