Hi to everyone.
how can I play .Flac files within WMP?
Someone told me that I should install Illiminable Ogg Directshow Filters http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/
Am I in the right way?

Thanks,
Stefano

Hi Snowknight26 and thanks for your reply!
I was asking to me if I can still use it in conjunction with ffdshow to play flac files.
Could you confirm this?

Bye,
Stefano

You sure can, but you have to make sure you set Uncompressed to All supported in the ffdshow audio config.

I see what you mean... :thanks:
...later than I'll see it working like Haali Media Splitter does with ffdshow video decoder, Am I right?

P.S.
which is your favourite audio grabber?

If you have obtained a file with the extension .flac or .fla (although .fla is very popular as a work file of Macromedia Flash) then you have obtained FLAC audio. FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec . It is open source and provides lossless audio compression. This means that even though the audio is compressed, it will still maintain its exact original quality. However, since it is lossless, music stored in this format would definitely take up more space than say MP3 or Musepack audio or any other lossy compression.
