ffdshow gives silent audio playing MTS files in MPC

I'm playing MTS (avchd) files in Media Player Classic (v6.4.9.1) and using the ffdshow audio decoder (ffdshow tryouts revision 2527 Dec 2008). The video plays OK (a bit jerky) but the audio is silent.

In ffdshow's audio settings I've set format "AC3" to "libavcodec" and also tried it set to "liba52". Although the ffdshow audio filter is being used which is shown in MPC's Play/Filters menu, the audio is always silent.

Other media file types play with audio OK.

Is there anything else I need to set up in ffdshow or MPC to get the MTS audio to play correctly?

Disable the internal MPEG splitter in MPC.
Install Haali Media Splitter.
Use a newer build of ffdshow.

ipanema, you should really upgrade Ffdshow. Try clsid's builds from his signature.

In case the issue is still there; for me what solved silent or corrupted DTSHD audio and jitter video (~8 fps) was to use Reclock audio output set to WASAPI both for WAV and DS. If you want to avoid resampling Reclock does be sure to set clock reference to audio and original media speed.

Now I can finally watch Bluray with Fffdshow audio/video codec.
Just to be clear it would happen with MPC internal codecs as well if I use normal audio outputs.
Soundcard is RME HDSPe AES if anyone cares, it is probably driver's fault since it is mainly intended for pro audio.
I loopback output of multiple channels for the purpose of applying room correction through VST plugins.
It's probably the reason but in theory it should work fine and it does with WASAPI (I repeat it is probably DS bug in the drivers or limitation in the DS itself when loopback is introduced).
Weird thing it happens only on Bluray audio.
