derrow,

you say that vob files still contain angles infos even if the movie is ripped in "movie" mode with smartripper.
i agreee, you're the expert :)
so what i'd like in ifoedit is a button to check if a set of vob files contain angles info or not, it could be useful to know that before burning, to have greater chance to make the conversion play in a standalone

thanks

Sorry, but this would make more work, and won't be that useful.
To scan all VOB files for angles is a lengthy process.

Before you rip a DVD, you can already see, if the movie has got angles or not. Smartripper show's that, and the new IfoEdit beta2 version display's in the VTS_Overview, if it has got Angles.

So you know before ripping if there are Angles in the VOB files or not. If yes, then simply let IfoEdit later remove all Angle-pointers.

But maybe I will implement such and other VOB-analysing functions into VobEdit :)

thanks derrow :)

great news to know that, some day, we'll have these "VOB-analysing functions" in ifoedit.

thx
