I cant find any information on it. They announced that their encoder will support CUDA and get up to 5 times faster then a Quad Core 2.
Just wondering, since it may be the only encoder that give some decent video quality while accelerating with CUDA.

I doubt they're using anything Ateme for that, given that Ateme only makes a software encoder (outdated and being revamped) and an FGPA-based hardware encoder, not CUDA stuff.
Odds are it'll be licensed from the same company that does the PowerDirector CUDA tech or something like that.
"5 times faster than a Core 2 Quad" generally means, in marketing-speak, "5 times faster than Quicktime on a Core 2 Quad", which translates to "5 times faster than a group of retarded monkeys using abacuses."

Im pretty sure they gonna use the nvcuvenc.dll just like anyone else is doing :P, though im surprised that it takes so long to implement some simple calls, hopefully they gonna make more settings available not like Cyberlink currently LoiloScope shows the most settings available from the Encoder :D

Well, if it does use nvcuvenc.dll, then Badaboom should predict the kind of quality we can expect. :(

Sad but true!
I'm not expecting much...

don't count on me for testing...

CUDA-enabled NVIDIA graphics card with NVIDIA display drivers version 185 or above required for GPU acceleration.
HEHE they need the Beta Driver :P little surprised might be not the Nvidia Encoder @ all as the old .ax from the 182 drivers should be the same as the new nvcuvenc.dll just some enhancements (primarily i guess Speed from Cuda 2.2) at least i could see no improvement using it with PowerDirector, gonna test Moveit.
Edit: Yep it's Nvcuvenc.dll based like all the others except the Badaboom Encoder :), it's kind of useless to test with this application as it is very basic and doesn't allow any deep Encoder settings to be changed @ all (at least via the gui it's absolutely kid software like) the lowest bitrate you can chose for 720p is 8 Mbit so yeah absolutely cripled even more then Powerdirector or Loiloscope, but it isn't surprising @ all keeping in mind that Nero Recode is the Advanced user Encoder more surprising it is that Cuda isn't enabled inside their yet with finally full access to all it's encoder settings.
so the quick run was 2:00 minutes for the Software Encode via Nerodigital.dll and 0:58 seconds via nvcuvenc.dll 720p 25fps 8 Mbits
