View Full Version : HCenc - small source mismatch found

I've an observation about this Hcenc error (0.23) that occasionally appears during the 2nd pass.
If I force *NOSMP in the HC.INI, this error goes away.

Is it something to do with the PC configuration? I'm running an AMD x2, XP sp3.

Something wrong in my profile perhaps?

If I login as another user, (both users set up as Administrators)
this problem does not occur, and I even get extra frames per second on the 2nd login !
(From 85fps 2nd pass to 95 fps 2nd pass on the 2nd login)

Something odd going on here.

If there are any Windows gurus among you, please comment.

Problem resolved by recreating the users profile.

Seems like a mystery, everything was working, except for this one weirdness.
