Splitting a x264 into very small parts

I need to edit a very small part from an MKV x264 file, something like 20MB or so.

Using mmg it only allows a 350MB minimum size.

What can I use to split such a small piece?

That's not true. Under global, and split after this size, you can type in a value in that box. Or you can split by time.
