I'm using Vista Home Premium 32-Bit and I'm experiencing issues playing back HD-DVD .evo files, specifically the movies themselves, directly from my hard drive in MPC - HC with the EVR Custom Pres. output, but Blu-ray .m2ts files work completely fine. Also .evo files which are not the movie, e.g. extras, trailers etc, playback the video portion, but not the audio. I am using an ATI Radeon HD 3650 graphics card with Catalyst v9.1, however, I have tried almost every version from 8.6 with the same issue.
When I try play a .evo file, MPC - HC acts as if it is trying to playback an audio file, contracts showing the seek bar with no video window and an x appears down the bottom right indicating there is no audio/volume. The time also shows as 00:00 and doesn't move, even though MPC - HC shows the file as playing. When I attempt to playback the same, or any other .evo file in Graphedit, the WMVideo Decoder DMO plays the files fine with a little stuttering.
The funny thing is, HD-DVD .evo files worked previously, however, I cannot think of any change made on my system that could be causing this issue.
I have used the latest version of MPC - HC from the official site and svn1040, yet I'm still experiencing the same issue.
