Need help for tunning meGUI xvid 2pass HQ(no Qpel) profile for anime encoding.

i am trying to encode some anime/cartoons from HD source using meGUI "xvid 2pass HQ (no Qpel)" profile and i am getting major oversize. (for 175mb target i get around 220mb).

the only thing that comes to my mind is to try to lower the imin, pmin and bmin values from 1 to 2.
however, Adaptive Quant. is not recommended for anime. it may screw hard edges. turn it off.
