x264 guide 300 MB movie ?

hey im new here guys i now that all encoding professionals here i hope i get my answers :S

i want to know how to encode movie 700 MB to 300 MB

with codec x264 i think its with megui for MKV/Mp4

and with virtual dub for avi

wat is a good setting for getting heighst quality possible and with this bitrate 450 to get 300 MB movie ?

whether its in virtualdub or megui

i need a good setting for any of them and with good speed possible cuz my pc not high performance :S

Run MediaInfo on the original file and post the output of the "Text" view here. That will enable anyone trying to help you to know in advance some things about your source.

Where did you get the 700MB movie?

i got the 700 movies from torrent sites actually or u want to know what kind of codecs they are ripped be4 ?

and about mediainfo how can i do it sorry im beginner
