Both DVD2AVI and DGIndex show resolution as 352x480, no matter what file I load. Both were working fine and I don't recally changing any setting. Anyone experience this? Have a remedy? Thanks.

Also, open the file in VirtualDub plus fccHandler's MPEG2 plugin. Then do File/File Information. I'd be very surprised if it disagreed with DGIndex.

Virtualdub reads it as 352x480. I had ripped this file before at 576x432 and it came out fine. So i ripped it again at GK with input resolution set at 702x384 and output resolution at 576x384. Looked "pinched" so I ran it through MPEG4 Modifier with aspect ratio 4:3 and it looks good.

I still don't understand why all those software see the resolution as 352x480 but it all worked out. It was just two files that were showing the strange resolution.

Thanks for the tip on the MPEG2 plugin. Was wondering why I couldn't load an MPEG2 file in VirtualDub,
