Does anyone know the correct Decompression Format for video using Cineform codec?

Your question is not clear. What do you mean by "decompression format"?

What I mean is the correct "decompression format" when importing Cineform video into VirtualDub as seen in the below image.

What's wrong with "Autoselect" please? This should select whatever the decompressor delivers natively/preferably.
Forcing a specific format may result in error (because the decompressor can't deliver that format) or it may cause an additional colorspace conversion...

Well, I don't always trust Autoselect as I've had it use the wrong decompressor on a few instances.

As far as I understand, VirtualDub will request the selected "decompression format" directly from the decompressor (VfW Codec).
If the decompressor cannot deliver the selected format, VirtualDub will selected the "most compatible" format available and convert to the selected format from there.
The "Autoselect" option should always give you a format supported directly by the decompressor, so an additional conversion can be avoided.
Anyway, reading this (http://www.outside-hollywood.com/2007/06/cineform-digital-intermediate-codec/) article, it seems that the Cineform Codec can handle various color formats. Some of them are not supported in VirtualDub (e.g. 12-Bit YUV data).
Consequently your question cannot be answered clearly...

Normally Cineform is YUY2 internally, but these days it also uses YUV 4:4:4 and RGB24.
Leave the decompression format set to autoselect - it knows what it's doing.

I don't think Autoselect is able to get it right 100% of the time.
On one of my codecs it gets it wrong and produces artifacts in the video.
Reason why I try to find out what I need to set it manually.
Although still experimental, VirtualDub 1.9.1 has several new decompression formats.

Selecting the "wrong" colorspace should never cause artifacts. If at all, an additional (unnecessary) colorspace conversion is applied.
That can lead to a very minor quality degradation (chroma subsampling, rounding errors), but that's it...

In the case of the codec I have issues with it is a UYVY 4:2:2 codec. But if I leave it on auto select there are issues with text in the video displaying with red dots/artifacts around it. Once I set it to UYVY 4:2:2 manually, there are no issues.
