Hello,

Could anybody refer to some particular software tool that is able to make frame accuracy cutting of AVC video elementary or some format like Mp4 or AVCHD stream?

I mean smart mode whet a part of first and last GOPs are re-encoded and other data is copied as is.

Have you taken a look at Avidemux? It should be able most of what you ask.

As to the smart mode issue, I doubt it, but maybe. Not many (if any) free tools have advanced features such as smart mode.

Hi,

The only program which claims to be capable to do a frame accurate edit on a h.264 stream I know is "MPEG Edit Studio Pro V2.0"

Of course, it is a commercial program which costs some 1000$. You might have a look here:

Hello guys, thank you for the refers. It does not matter if the software is commercial or free, if anibody knows some more please give the refers.
