Hello!

I'm running Windows Vista x64 with Media Player Classic v6.4.9.1 (revision 89) and FFDShow MPEG-4 Video Decoder 2009-03-25 SSE.
I've been running this configuration for years (before Vista I had WinXP). Everything worked fine until a few weeks ago when all of a sudden DVD playback stopped to work properly. Here's what I mean:

It's jittery, picture is shown only in upper left corner, it's not supposed to be that way. I don't know what happened. I tried reinstalling the MPC and ffdshow, nothing.

What's wrong? How do I solve this problem?

It's probably a driver issue. Did you happen to update your graphics driver or something?
Or it may be a renderer issue. Try different renderers.
Or something happened inside ffdshow. Try uninstalling this latest version and install the latest stable Beta of ffdshow tryouts (it is Beta 6 from december 2008)

Yes. I normally update my NVIDIA Forceware drivers. (I currently have the latest version installed: 182.08)

I tried from System Default to VMR9, nothing.

try reinstalling Media Player Classic.

somethimes my MPC acts up and flips the video vertically and sometimes i won't even open certain dvds.
