I've a whole movie contained in a single VOB file. There are no IFO or BUP files that go with it. My wish is to burn it to disk that my DVD player will see and play it.
Am I right in presuming it must have (at least) the afore mentioned BUP and IFO files in place to do this? Can I create this myself?

Is it OK to ask for pointers to the right software that'll do this? Any other tips please?

Re-rip the DVD to get the missing files.

Hmmmm . . . A lot easier than I thought. I simply re-authored with DVD AuthorGUI 1.010c . .
There's a difference in picture quality. The question is, is that DVDAuthor's re-encoding or is it the DVD player or is it something else . . . ??

Take neuron2's advice. Anything else is a presumed violation of rule 6. As such, I am closing this thread.
