Dear All,

I have noticed that some of my PAL movie has interlaced part, even if 90% of the content is progressive.

I had a look to the de-interlace plugin, but they are so many...

Do you have any recommandation for PAL movie content (90% progressive, 10% interlaced)?

I don't play the movie on real time as I will always re-encode, after having applied the filter, with DVD-RB, so I don't care if the filter is very slow...I prefer to wait longer and get very good results.

Thanks
Francois

Telecide or TFM.

Telecide or TFM.They won't give "very good results" on the interlaced parts, will they?

Or, to put it another way, there are better bobbers / deinterlacers for interlaced content.

Is there a way of using telecide to do nothing to the 25p parts, and running the 50i parts through mcbob? Automatically? Can it be done without getting the speed hit of doing everything through mcbob (and then ignoring 90% of it!).

Cheers,
David.
