Hey!

I installed the Lame ACM MP3 Codec on a Vista x64 system. VirtualDub recognizes the Codec and I can choose it in the audio compression list. But TMPGenc 4.0 Xpress can not find the codec. The lameACM.acm and lame_acm.xml are in the system32 and syswow64 directory. The installed programs show me that the lame acm codec is installed. Why cant TMPGenc find this codec?

Thx

AC3ACM works well with TMPGEnc 4.0 Xpress [222or newer]as External ac3 codec

lame Mp3 using as internal codec

Ok, so i downloaded another lame rar archiv with a .dll and .exe including. I copied them to C:/windows/, system32 and syswow64 but tmpgenc is still unable to find the codec.

I use XP and also install LameAcm. By default, Tmpgenc shows me a MP3 acm codec(l3acm.acm) but no/not LameACM. (it seems that l3acm.acm exists on every MS system). After adjusting LameACM with higher priority, now Tmpgenc shows LameACM, but no/not l3acm.

How can I adjust LameACM with a higher priority? Im not using l3acm, so that would solve my problem.
