Since the Haali Media Splitter got installed on a PC, the Sony utilities shipped with an AVCHD camera (HDR-SR7E) are not able anymore to display preview pictures, they report image dimensions of 0×0 pixels instead. Haali Media Splitter uninstalled - and the applications work well again.
I am not sure if the Sony utilities rely on a kind of "preview picture" functionality, which I know you can disable in the Haali splitter (and might be disabled by default). When I visit them next time I will try to test this. But I already wanted to tell you about it, and maybe someone is able to tell me some ideas I should try to test as soon as I am able.
