ALL

I face a problem with the latest mediacoder to convert SatRip mpeg2 to AVC. At any video bitrate i have enormous horizontal lines at any motion. For audio i use nero encoder integrated into mediacoder.
Here you can see distortions

What is wrong guys? Can anyone advise what to do?

Thanks in advance

A. deinterlace it before encoding
or
B. try encoding in interlaced mode (if the encoder you're using supports it)

It isn't a "distortion" exactly. Your original video was encoded as interlaced video with every other line in the frame from different fields which are from different times. This was the way video was displayed on TVs for a long time.

Read up on video formats and de-interlacing, there are a lot of good video FAQs and guides here.

edit: this might help
