Blends? I just don't see them in this video

This is a sample from Ghajini, R0 DVD9 (2009 rls)

I've been told that this is NOT progressive, yet it has blends.
I've put this into DGI, turned off the flags, yet still I don't get it.

Any help please? Thanks

What is your question?

It's just plain old 3:2 soft pulldown. Use Force Film mode.

Don't accept uncritically everything you are told.

The question is...when I ignore any flags for pulldown etc...I still don't see blends in this. How is it that others do?

They are probably blend deinterlacing it instead of IVTC'ing it.

Are they viewing this same source, or perhaps a reencode by you or someone else? If a reencode, how about a small sample from that? As stated, this is a standard progressive encode with soft pulldown. And as comatose said, a smaller sample would have been better - 10 well chosen seconds would have been plenty.
