Authoring HD DVDs like DVDs?

i was wondering if there was software where it is possible to create HD DVDs from a h.264 stream (made by x264) and a audio stream?

very much like a DVD authoring process using DVD-Lab Pro where you get the two compatible streams (Video=.m2v and Audio=.ac3) and it will mux it for a final compilation for a DVD.

thanks! i was trying it during the time period, however it keeps on crashing as soon as it starts :(

i take it this is freeware, but does there happen to be a commercial version of this kind?

Ulead/Corel's MovieFactory 6+ with HD addon will make HD DVDs, but it's a complete authoring tool, not a muxer. Re: the crashing, maybe that "strikesback" tool needs .NET or some such...

well i downloaded the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package, but that didnt really help.

and ive got Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6, and i thought iw as going tob e succesful with this one, but it was more of a pain in the ass, and yes u r correct, it is a complete authoring tool, which recodes, renders whatever and that is not what i am wanting exactly.

plus, the problem with HDDVDmux is that there is absolutely no documentation, unless i am wrong?

Have you tried the "strikesback" tool, and it doesn't work for you either? I've never tried it, mostly because it doesn't do Chapters or Subtitles afaik.

BTW the author, ReferenceDivx, has not posted at doom9 in exactly 5 months today! Guess Atak A-ttacked him right outta here.
