error signature

Hello there,

Firstly i apologize if i am not supposed to post this kind of stuff here, if i am wrong please direct me to where i can get help for this. But if it could be answered please someone help. I keep getting this error signature when i encode video files with VirtualDubMod.

AppVer: 1.5.4.0
ModName: lameacm.acm
ModVer: 0.0.9.0
Offset: 0001f619

LAMEACM crashed VirtualDubMoD. Try a newer (or a different) version of LAMEACM.

And/or try an up-to-date version of VirtualDub, not and ancient discontinued fork of it...

Update to the latest version of VirtualDub and try again:
VirtualDub-1.8.8.zip (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/virtualdub/VirtualDub-1.8.8.zip?download)

Also the module name (mcspmpeg.ax) indicated that it's a DirectShow filter, which shouldn't be related to VirtualDub(Mod) at all :confused:
