Problem with demuxed audio

But there are still problem. :eek: The demuxed audio has some crc32 errors. Mkvmerge drops that errors (mkvmerge says non ac3 stream, mencoder says CRC32 error, besweet also says like that). This make the audio even shorter. Looks like the error is random. Maybe because of that the audio is out of sync in the middle when it is stretched. Or maybe the original silence is already random in the first place.

I found that mencoder is dropping video frames to synch with audio when encoding. So now maybe I will encode video and audio using mencoder. Then I take only encoded video and mux it with original ac3 with mkvmerge. The duration of video will be shorter but it's ok for some videos.

Can anyone help me? Is there another method that does not drop frames?

What is your source stream? How are you demuxing the audio? What makes you think the demuxed audio has CRC32 errors?

Hi, neuron2. Thanks for replying.

This is what I did :
1. Use DGIndex to create d2v file and demux the audio.
Video duration is 25 min and audio duration is 24 min 57 sec

2. Create avisynth script of d2v file
3. Use x264 to encoding the video (using avisynth script)
4. Mux video and audio using mkvmerge
