8-bit support

Hello everybody,

I have 8 bit images and I need to compress these data somehow. I couldn't find any way to compress using VirtualDubMod because there is no option under Video->Video Color Depth menu. Do you have any idea about how to compress video using 8 bit color depth? :thanks:

Use VirtualDub instead of VirtualDubMod - in Color Depth it offers a choice of "Luminance only (Y8)". (At least mine does - it may depend on installed codecs.)
