I've searched thoroughly, so this may be in vain:
Does anyone know of any program(s) for converting BluRay discs to HD-DVD format?

I am quite sure that none were developed properly. There were a couple that started, back when the war was still on, but now they are all shooting for the reverse process.
The only other thing that I can think of would be to completely demux the movie your self and create a HD-DVD structure using Scenarist. The only thing is that Scenarist doesn't offer HD-DVD support in their main product any more, so you would have to find an old version somewhere.

It's certainly do-able, but I can't imagine why you'd want to!!???!!! HD DVD is not the way to archive for the future. Ok, I guess you might have an HD DVD player and want to play certain discs on it. You need Ulead/Corel MF6+ or maybe this site (http://www.hddvdstrikesback.com/) will help. But there are two forums at AVS that discuss this, looky here (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1076535) and in a sticky in the same area.
