I have got three files ripped (with DVDFab I think) from a DVD, *.mds, *.i00 (4.2 GB) and *.i01 (2.0 GB). Trying to shrink them with DVDShrink to burn a DVD5, I open the .mds file but get the error 'failed to open .i00 file'.
So I tried what is most probably a no-no: I concatenated the two files into an .iso on the command prompt. The file opens alright in DVDShrink, but with compression set to 'automatic' the output shrinks from 6.2 to 5.8 GB only. Setting a 'custom ratio' won't stick.
Any hint as to how to proceed most appreciated (I do not have the original DVD).
