Error: VobBlanker from within PGCedit

Having set Jump2PGC and saved in PGCedit v 9.2, I opened VobBlanker from within, using Tools.

Whether I do nothing (just close VobBlanker) or make a change, such as blank two small Titles, a return to PGCedit, by closing VobBlanker, issues the error message:
"Error executing tools 'VobBlanker'
then it gives the paths to VobBlanker and to the DVD folder,
Error: Key not found
Child process exited abnormally'.

Yet when I next used VobBlanker from outside PGCedit, on the same DVD, to strip some audio streams, all was normal on re-opening the DVD in PGCedit!

What in heavens name have I done wrong?
Any suggestions please?

Sorry to have bothered you all with a number of Threads recently, but, I have not used PGCedit for some months, awaiting the new version, and am now testing it from all directions!

Do you close VobBanker using the Quit button at the bottom? Or by clicking the red X?

Looks like it is. You may use "Quit" in VoBblanker.
But I have a similar error message when I want to launch " Windows Explorer" with Tools from within "PGCEdit". The error message appears when loading "Explorer", not when quitting.This does not happen when launching PowerDVD, VOBblanker...
I was wondering if it were something in my Explorer configuration in PGCEdit (I played with the parameters but did not change anything) or something linked to Windows XP (admin rights...).

It must be something to do with the return code. Use the Quit button instead. Or ignore the message.

I tried the Quit button in VobBlanker instead of the 'X' and no problem, even though the latter creates a window with 'Do you really want to Quit?". Then, a Yes gives the error message!

Did you actually do anythig in VobBlanker? If it did nothing, it gives some funny error, IIRC.

That's right, returning from VOBblanker after doing nothing also gave the error when using 'X', not for 'Quit'!

PgcEdit checks the return code of the application, and displays that dialog when it is not zero. Normally, an application should always return 0 when there was no error. I have also noticed that VobBlanker's X button causes a non-zero return code, but I can't change that!
(When the application is launched in the background, PgcEdit doesn't wait, and has no way to check the return code.)

How do you launch Windows Explorer? With which options? Anyway, you should launch it in the background, and PgcEdit should not check its return code.

Note that you can open the current VIDEO_TS folder with File -> Explore DVD Folder (Control+F)

Take care however. If you run VB in background, you cannot instruct PgcEdit to reload the DVD when it has finished its job. That may be the cause of serious problems, if you save the PgcEdit IFOs over a DVD modified by VB!
