Hi,
I would like to cut scenes out of Matroska videos.
Tried, avidemux2 on Linux, but it can't show the frames while editing :(
What problem should I use for this? Linux or Windows.

Avidemux shows frames while cutting on Windows, in my experience. If you need more advanced muxing options, you may also want to try MKVMerge(GUI) after locating your cut points in Avidemux or your media player.

avidemux shws the frames on Linux as well, and perfectly with avi files, but with mkv it doesn't decode the frames in between the key frames right :(
Does it do that on Windows?

Make sure you have the latest release version, which is 2.4.4 Final right now. You may even try a recent SVN build of Avidemux 2.5.
Also "Tools" -> "Rebuild I & B Frames " may help...
(BTW: I got some MKV's that work flawlessly in Avidemux and some that fail horrible)
