I really like the filters on the PS3 and I was wondering if there are almost identical counterparts in AVISynth. The three filters are mosquito, frame, and block noise reduction. Obviously there are these kind of filters but are there ones similar to the PS3's? Thanks in advance for any info.

How do you enable these filters? When I get the chance to, I'll take a look at them on my PS3 and tell you the avisynth equivelants. In the interrim, good filters, and probably way better quality than the PS3, include: MDegrain1/2/3, dfttest, MCTemporalDegrain, hqdn3d (good for light denoising). You can look up on the avisynth wiki for some more information.

Oh, well, I actually know three of those but... Yeah, I'm trying to find equivalents. In a video on the PS3, you press "triangle", go to A/V controls I think it's called, and you can set the three filters from a strength of 1-3. I know that there are probably better filters which I might even be using, but the reason I like the PS3's is because they're very lightbut at the same time effective. It might be something else but when I compared the picture on my LCD HDTV of a video on my computer then of it on the PS3, the lines seemed much smoother on the PS3. My guess is that it's the mosquito filter but I don't know.
