Hello,

I have a HD 1080i video from HDRHC7 Camcorder. I needed a good output to burn to a dvd so I used procoder to convert it using its dvd format. The procoder target I chose was MPEG2_DVD_NTSC(Mastering). I left overnight to convert, now I have to two outputs. One is video in mpeg2 fromat and the other is AC3 output of audio.

I m confused because I need them to be muxed and need them to be burned. I want to burn it to a dvd but dont know how to. Last time I only muxed and burned them to dvd but I got the disc on all dvd players saying unplayable.

Actually wasnot burned in DVD-Video format. I used nero burning rom's DVD-ROM (UDF) format to burn it. I had to because the muxed video didnt go in to DVD-Video version of it. I want to know how to burn it as DVD-Video without doing anymore conversion that would cause a bad quality video.

A little help is worth alot of penny!

You need a DVD authoring program. The choice of which one to use is up to you, as there are both free (like DVD Flick) and proprietary (like TMPGEnc DVD Author/Authoring Works) solutions for that. They may or may not re-encode the content, which you should be able to choose in their options, but they will create a usable structure. Just make sure that the streams are spec compliant first - the authoring program will probably tell you if it sees problems with the streams when you add them.

If you want to have the MPEG-2 and AC3 muxed together beforehand, you can use mplex, TMPGEnc (that's the encoder, although the Author can do it too), tcmplex (might be called mplex1), etc.
