I can't get to the movie since I'm stuck at the root menu.
I'm using media player classic home cinema with evr.

I move the mouse over the root menu options but can't click any of them.
How do I get the root menu working again?
Also if you do have an answer, could you tell me how to get the root menu working in zoom player pro 6.00 as well?
I use evr with zoom player pro too. :)

Somehow clikcking on menus cant be done with EVR:mad:

In MPC u can just use hotkeys to navigate through menu. Check options>>keys for binds. Some of them need be binded manually.

littleD,

I only see Options-Player-Keys, not the option 'keys for binds' as you mentioned. What are 'keys for binds' anyway?

In my key menu I can see: command, modifier, key, type, ID, mouse, application command, remoteCmd, RepCnt.

So I tried eg. command DVD Menu Left, modifier None, Key VK_LEFT (this is the left keyboard button correct?), Type VIRTKEY, ID is standard and cannot be modified 928, Mouse None, the rest is not important correct?

It works in VMR9 (ONLY with vmr9 mixer mode checked by the way!) but not in EVR......

What could I be doing wrong here?

I don't think DVD Menu navigation works in EVR on XP.

I didn't spend a lot of time looking at it, but I did notice that with EVR CP the menu did not even have an indicator of which menu item was selected.

As previously said, it works fine on VMR9.

DVD menus work for me on Vista64, but navigation with the mouse is slower than a snail.

They work fine on my Vista32 machine. Mouse responsiveness is fine too.

Sorry for complicated answer. I took "bind" from Q3 which mean assign a key to command :)
Everything works with EVR. And indicator works too as usual. U cannot only mouseclick on menus.
Last time i checked options, I have following assings: DVD left = ALT+left arrow, DVD up = ALT+ up arrow and so on... Enter is ALT+Space. But not every key is assigned. U can assign them in options. For example: DVD Menu back ALT+VK_BACK.

Edit: So, As Jong noticed menus work on Vista, which is original environment for EVR. For XP with EVR, the fastest solution is I believe using keyboard.

Sorry, I should have made it clear that the slow navigation only happens to me with EVR Custom. Normal EVR and VMR9 normal or rendererless work fine.

Navigation is fine here on Vista32, EVR CP (using the last stable build).

Wel I don't think so, but I only looked at it briefly. Anyone think it does?

Sorry, but I wrote you everything. Yes, VK_LEFT mean left arrow on keyboard. And the rest isnt so important for us. But it is assigned already for framestep back. For DVD MENU LEFT use modifier ALT. Then you must hold alt and press left key for navigating left.

Tried this already but still no keys are responding......
Other ideas what prevents the keys from working in EVR Custom?

Well its strange. I have no other ideas:confused: I use cyberlink and default windows dvd navigator filter and keys work.

Keyboard navigation should work without doing anything extra. Just hold ALT and use the arrow keys, and use Space to select.

Mouse navigation certainly doesn't work here though, XP 64-bit SP2 using EVR Custom.
