Still Image Software Query

A couple of years ago I happened across some freeware imaging software that was able to separate the fields from an interlaced still image capture... Sufficed to say I can't remember what this software was called :(

Is anybody here know of such an application?

What format is the still? If it's a supported one, you can just open it in VirtualDub or with an Avisynth script, and then separate as needed.

Why are you trying to do with the still? Deinterlace it?
