Try loading one of your 1080p60 files into AviSynth and simply doing AssumeFPS("ntsc_film")

And that will make the slowmotion @ 50% no ? ( 30p with no frame change )

looking for "on the fly" velocity that only an editing program gives you, maybe 100% for 2 seconds, 300 for 5 seconds, 40% for 10 seconds and 100% the rest lets say.

These tests are random, i do not want slomotion, i'm looking at it because of the 60 FPS :)

All files were encoded with CQ 22 default ripbot profile

The 540p60 version is the only one that works perfect on my x2 4000+ with divx7, my sistem tops out at 720p40 or 1920x1080p24

The mp4 opened in vegas 8.0b and crashed it 2 times, after that it worked for 2 days, i did a simple effect ( levels ), rendered uncompressed, 6.8 GB for the 14.6 seconds, after 2 days it stoped working, had to use Cineform Neo Scene to make it AVI. Samples with "neo" prefix are new encodes.

The motion is to die for i must say, the stabilization sux but with 60 FPS i would say it looks better than optical 24P, tripod/steady is a must.

Quality is k for me ( 22 1080P screen ), if i can do chroma keyer/keylight for green screen captures its on my shopping list.
Also talked to blackmagic people and they say that progresive modes are planned so we might get 10 bit 4:2:2 1080p60 ( or 8 bit 4:2:2 , some people say the last 2 blackmagic bits are null ) with ~700$ + pc in 6-12 months.

The encoder uses level high 4.2 with 2 refs, no cabac and variable rate

As for SLOMOTION :

A 60 FPS sanyo clip with velocity ( sony vegas ) set to 40% can be renderd at 24 FPS for 1080p24
A 60 FPS sanyo clip with velocity ( sony vegas ) set to 50% can be renderd at 30 FPS for 1080p30
A 60 FPS sanyo clip with velocity ( sony vegas ) set to 100% can be renderd at 60 FPS for 1080p60

For those with a good pc : does the original look k noise/artefacts wise ? what about my encodes ?

Canon S100 reviewed, still not enough to take the sanyo http://www.camcorderinfo.com/ratings.php

From what i see its perfect if used with a tripod/stedy ( if we look at the price )
