i have a blu ray dual layer and am have a 30 gig iso and last night start imgburn to copy across.
the program stated it was erasing data on the BR (even though it was brand new) for about 2.5 hrs then it seems to get stuck when it started to burn.
how long does it take to burn. i stopped the program but am wondering if this process actually take many hours?
is ther any other copying software to try?
thanks

1. On RW discs, ImgBurn does a full erase the first time.
2. Post your ImgBurn log - Help --> ImgBurn Logs

i set the burn today and when i got back it seemed to be succsessful but there were some errors in the imgburn log which i have enclosed.
in cyberlink power dvd there is sound but no picture. in opening the .m2ts file with the VLC player i can see and hear though the pic isn't briliant.
so where am i going wrong. i followed the guide in getting the iso file.
thanks

...there were some errors in the imgburn log which i have enclosed.Instead of using Manage Attachments you should instead just use the CODE tags for your message [ C O D E ]...the log pasted here...[ / C O D E ] and it will appear like this:
...the log pasted here...
Just click on the "pound sign" when creating a message.

As with other media, use Verbatim. I am not at all sure of the quality of those TDKs.

TDK BD's work briliantly on my Sony S350 and Samsung 1500 players. Don't bother with LD discs supplied with their drives. I have two and both of them while burn fine, they do not work in the players. The dye is rubbish. I only recommend TDK and Verbatim for RE's.
I had to max out the total burnable area to burn all 46.6GB to a disc (such as the POTC films). By default, Imgburn leaves a little unformatted so it loses a little disc space.
Once formatted properly, my 2x 50GB TDK BD-RE takes 80 minutes with 40minutes for the 25GB one. I did 4x 25GB Ridata BD-R's in 20 minutes.
