How to remove audio tracks from mkv files?

I have found this thread

where they suggest MKVExtractGUI and AVI-Mux GUI to remove unwanted audio tracks.

The thread is quite old. Are these tools still the best for the job?

If you want to keep the .mkv, but remove unwanted tracks, use mkvmergegui. Checkmark the wanted , uncheckmark the unwanted

If you want just the audio tracks separately , use mkvextractgui
