Hello,

I have an LG BH20N Blu-Ray drive on it's way to me. This is my first Blu-Ray drive, so I'm admittedly out of the loop on much of what there is to know about Blu-Ray. I've done a lot of reading the last couple of days, but one thing I can't seem to find concrete info on is region coding. Assuming this drive will be region locked, what do I do to unlock it? Also, if I want to play DVD's on it, what do I do to unlock DVD region coding on it? (or are these things even possible?)

rpc1.org is still around.. not sure if there's a firmware but it takes you as long to search as it takes me.
Blu-ray only has software region code so there's no RPC-1 firmware for Blu-ray.. it just applies to DVDs.

www.firmwarehq.com has firmware updates now. This is the site ImgBurn is using and has been developed by LUK and th ImgBurn Beta Team.

Also, The Dangerous Brothers' site is still up, I think.

As well, if you own AnyDVDHD, it will emulate your drive as an RPC 1 drive, while decrypting.
