View Full Version : tsMuxer and Problems with 720p50/720i100

Hi,

I just played around with H.264 recordings taken from the German channels "EinsFestival HD" and "Arte HD" (recorded with "DVB Viewer" as well as with a stand alone receiver).

I wanted to use them with tsMuxeR 1.8.4b, but unfortunately, the videotracks of both streams were rejected: "Some tracks not recognized. This track was ignored".
I thought that there might seem be some problems with the muxing, so I used eac3to for converting them to MKV. I also tried remuxing with TsRemux, but also: No success with tsMuxer.

Finally, I demuxed just the video track and loaded this one into tsMuxer, but it still says: "Canīt detect stream type".

Then, I took a closer look with eac3to: It claims that the video stream is not 720p50 as it is said by MediaInfo and DVB Viewer, but 720i100! Also, the latest DivX 7 refuses to play the MKV.

Any idea what is wrong with this streams and how to fix this? Or is 720p50 not supported at all by tsMuxer?

[Edit] eac3to claims: "The video bitstream framerate field doesnīt seem to match the timestamps."

Thanks a lot for any hints ;)

JK

Post a link to a unprocessed sample of your captured stream.

Take (unofficial ?) version 1.8.8.(b), it works very well: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/tsMuxeR (download direct link)
By the way, we're awaiting an new version promised by Roman for the beginning of 2009 ...
