Hi folks,
as of now iTunes does not support AAC+. Neither does RealPlayer nor Windows Media Player without a 3rd party plugin. Afaik they soon will have native support for aac+ but until now only winamp and VLC (?) supports AAC+ by default.
I know of Orban aacPlus Player Plugin for WMP (http://www.orban.com/plugin/) to enable AAC+ stream support and would like to know if you can tell me a similar plugin for iTunes (and maybe RealPlayer).
I did a quick 'n ugly google search on that issue but only came up with various threads complaining about the current state of AAC+ support respectively only the mentioned Orban plugin for WMP but nothing for iTunes and RealPlayer.
I would gladly appreciate any link for a 3rd party plugin to enable AAC+ streaming support in iTunes.
Than I could ditch the 128k mp3 stream and replace it by a 64k AAC+ for streaming decent quality audio at lower bitrates.
Thank you in advance
