I know this is a lot to ask, but I was wondering if there were any plans for supporting ripping blu ray discs sometime in the future? Now that the format war has been one and blu ray is becoming more prevalent, I would love to give ripping my ever growing blu ray collection into HD Divx or HD Xvid. I'm not exactly sure what this entails in coding, but it'd be great to have! I've been using AutoGK since the very beginning and am ecstatic to see that you have decided to come back and update it again! Even though it hadn't been updated in a year, I still used it all the time! Thanks again for this amazing program!

I would love this.

Hi!
Perhaps not a 100% solution for your desire but, are you aware that you can use the recently made available "MakeMKV" to DIRECTLY "rip" (No separate or additional decrypting/"ripping" programs needed) and convert your BluRays to MKV format? Then, perhaps, it's just a short step to the compression/conversion you've stated...

Yep I saw that earlier today. I just need to rip them into a format the PS3 or 360 can read.

Unfortunately I don't own bluray reader yet... As bluray is the future, then it will be supported for sure at some point (I can't say bluray itself but rather h264 inputs).

Thanks len0x! I can't wait! Does anyone know a good program to actually rip the blu ray files onto your computer? I've been using DVDFab Free Decrypter since the original DVD Decrypter went under.

As I mentioned previously, you can use (Freeware) "MakeMKV" to to DIRECTLY "rip" (No separate or additional decrypting/"ripping" programs needed) and convert your BluRays to MKV format - and then use (Freeware) "TSMuxer" to convert to BluRay...

This actually looks increasingly possible as DGAVCDec seems to be easy to intergrate instead of DGMpgDec (for simple m2ts sources).

Any idea when such an update may occur? My blu ray collection is expanding faster than my DVD's now :) Also I've been reading up on the x.264 codec and everyone seems to agree it's better than xvid. I've downloaded several programs, but none with the ease of use that AutoGK has. Any idea if AutoGK will eventually support x.264 as well? Thanks again for coming back len0x!

How about Ripbot264? It's a pretty smooth method for making movie-only Blu-ray backups. You could also try Jdobb's BD Rebuilder, which has both full disk and movie-only modes.
There's pros and cons to either approach, naturally... but both are very easy to use and regularly updated. Plus they are both supported by the authors on this very forum.
They do require that your Blu-ray be decrypted in order to work. Even though it's commercial software, I favor AnyDVDHD for its ease of use and regular updates.
If you haven't already, it's my highest recommendation to give them a shot.
